Gun Street Radio is the name of our band. We sound like a cross between Paul Westerberg and the Replacements, Drivin' 'n' Cryin', Cheap Trick, and Wilco's first record. Why Kevn Kinney no longer gets any love is something that we don't understand. For you Tom Waits fans out there, yes, it's a reference to the song Gun Street Girl. Except we've replaced girl with radio. Because we like Tom and think that quality lyrics should be an important part of songwriting...and the word radio  on the end sounds cool! We like to write GunStreetRadio without the spaces because it looks niftier on t-shirts, but many clubs call us Gun Street Radio and many fans looking for Gun Street Radio on the web might type Gun Street Radio on Google and if we only had GunStreetRadio on our site and not Gun Street Radio then the search engine might not pick up Gun Street Radio's site and then Gun Street Radio would lose fans. So Gun Street Radio is putting this little Gun Street Radio ramble at the end of the Gun Street Radio index page so that when you search for Gun Street Radio or GunStreetRadio by typing in Gun Street Radio you will find us.
